A Service for Those Who Served.

Patriot PAWS is a Texas-based nonprofit focused on training and providing high-quality Service Dogs at no cost for American Veterans nationwide with Mobile Disabilities, Brain Injuries, and/or Post-Traumatic Stress.

Veterans will never receive a bill, so every dollar makes a difference. Will you help us continue changing lives, four paws at a time?

Why Donate to Patriot PAWS?

Show a Veteran your appreciation.

Your donation will help us train and provide Service Dogs at no cost to disabled Veterans in need. For Veterans who suffer from mobile disabilities or Post-Traumatic Stress, a Service Dog can vastly improve their day-to-day lives and help them regain their independence.

Help a Service Dog find a forever home.

The contributions we receive from our
private donors go directly towards raising
and training Service Dogs of the highest quality. It costs over $45,000 to raise and train a pup for a lifetime of love and service.

Provide a lifelong community of support.

Patriot PAWS is more than service dogs—
we’re a family. Your donation helps create
a lasting network of Veterans, trainers, and supporters who stand together, ensuring
our Nation’s Heroes never feel alone in
their journey to healing and well-being.

Help Give a Vet a Second Chance.

Our Veterans have dedicated their lives to serving our country. However, they often return home
with debilitating physical and emotional injuries that prevent them from leading the lives they deserve. At Patriot PAWS, we’re committed to supporting Veterans on their journey towards independence and providing assistance to those brave enough to take the first step.

“He didn’t just save my life…
he gave me a life that was worth living.”

    Derrick & Goose

“Initially, I believed that another person was more deserving of having a dog than myself. However, looking back, I regret waiting so long to get one because having a Goose has significantly improved my happiness. Goose has become a source of motivation for me to be more active and get outside. Having him has given me a sense of purpose, and he has become my best friend.”

    Stan & Glory

“Before I got Glory on June 23, 2021, I didn’t want to leave my house. I was content to sit at home in my chair and order stuff online and having it delivered, so I didn’t have to leave my house. I was isolating myself. But now, I am able to leave the house. I focus on her, my best friend, instead of my surroundings. Glory allows me to pause and think, whereas before, I would react and run from troubling situations. Now, I love going to Bass Pro. I love being able to get rest. And, more importantly, I love that my stress is lower because of Glory. She has changed my life. She gave me my life back.”

    Jeremy & Chopper

“Before Chopper, I would medicate myself to deal with social activities of any kind. I hadn’t been to a store in over a year, depending on Instacart and delivery services. Flights were the worst, and that is basically my entire job. With Chopper, he headbutts me when he knows I’m nervous, or brings me one of his million stuffed animals (he grabs my socks if he somehow can’t find one). He is a pro at traveling now, waiting at the scanners, and being at work with me. I am so much more open with him around, leading to a better work/life balance, even though almost everyone tries to sneak him treats.”
